I am down to my final hours as an intern at Belmont Abbey College, and more importantly as a graduate student. As many of my projects will be on going, I began handing off my duties and sharing my thoughts to others on the Compliance Education sessions and google maps project.

Today I was able to sit down with Brooks Leger, Coordinator of Social Media and Marketing for the athletic department. He oversees a number of intern students doing similar roles I have completed this year, and we discussed the google maps project and how to hand it off to one of his marketing students. I showed him all the work that had been done in regards to pictures, videos, website linking as well as my hopes for what is yet to happen including details and history about the facilities to help those finding it learn about the place. We are now getting information back from google sharing the number of views each facility gets per month, and it is truly excited to see, and realize its marketing presence it can have with prospective students and employees.

Along with the google project, I am also handing over the reigns on my compliance education design to the Coordinator of Compliance. He has been a huge part of helping along the way, and now simply pass the skills of google forms and how to interpret the data and utilize it with my teaching background. It is bitter sweet handing off the projects, but very exciting getting to know they are works in progress that I will be able to see blossom in the future since I will be remaining at the college in my full time role.
