Day 41-Compliance Education Sessions

Today I worked on both my google business project taking photos for future use on google maps, as well as designing the compliance education course with John Fitzgerald the Coordinator of Compliance.

Prior to meeting up with Mr. Fitzgerald, I took time to research topics and information on Transfers and financial aid which is the topic of discussion for Novembers meeting where we hope to change the layout. I went through previous notes the compliance department has discussed in addition to utilizing the NCAA D11 handbook to create some pre and post test questions to engage the coaches in the meeting. I was able to put together an 8 question quiz with the help of Mr. Fitzgerald that he felt covered the topics to be discussed in the meeting. The goal as I have previously explained, is to gage the knowledge of the coaches with the pre-test questions to help him structure the education session. If coaches do poorly on one section more than the other, he knows were to spend his time. Attached is the sample quiz which will be used in the coming month. I look forward to seeing how it helps structure the meetings and providing guidance on what to discuss.
